Jennifer Boyce and Bacchus
Big congratulations go out to Quailhurst alumni horse Bacchus (Caletino x Tiarella) and owner Jennifer Boyce on a very successful first show over-fences together at the Northwest Spectacular.
A big group of Quailhurst family and friends, including Deborah and even Bacchus’ sire Caletino (who was showing in the adjacent jumper ring), was on hand as Bacchus and Jen earned two blues and a red to take home the show Championship in the Pre-Adult Equitation.
Five year old Bacchus marched around the course like a star and Jennifer was thrilled with the rides in their first over-fences classes together:
I was so excited at how amazing he felt and how adjustable he was! He made me look good and it was so much fun. It was exactly what I was hoping for when I first saw him. I can’t wait for the next couple of years as he figures out bigger jumps and bigger courses in the eq and jumper rings.
Well done, Jen and Bacchus! The two of you looked great and we can’t wait either!
